In an industry overrun with hot takes and fleeting trends, OpenX wanted to cut through the noise—not with self-promotion, but by creating space for real perspective. We saw an opportunity to spotlight the thinkers shaping digital media through one-on-one conversations that prioritized substance over spin. The POV series was an editorial experiment to see whether candid, insight-rich interviews could build brand credibility without the hard sell. Scott Hess—Chief Marketing Officer at Publicis Media and known for his cultural clarity—was our first test.


Impact
The result was a thoughtful, human conversation that sparked strong engagement across OpenX’s network. It reframed how the brand could show up in the market: less as a platform pushing product, more as a connector of industry intelligence. While the series was small by design, it proved that trust and depth could travel—and laid the groundwork for future editorial storytelling.
